Effects of Cloud Computing!
Due to Cloud Computing, any public information, music, social networking, or
documents in storage, is easily accessed via internet sites or VPN’s. Personal cloud
storage is the means of backing up or storing files to an online server. Cloud
provides protection and back up for any data they may had been lost, damaged, or
changed.
Cloud Computing provides:
•Storage as a service.
•Infrastructure as a service.
•Backup as a service.
•Disaster recovery
•Communicating and collaborating ( Space Shifting and Time Shifting)
•Flexibility and accessibility derives from the use of cloud computing. Remotely
access information through firms/sources through virtual servers, hardware,
software.

I recently somehow reset my iPhone to the factory setting so of course none of my things were there anymore. Thank goodness for iClould or I would have been in big trouble because knowing myself I would have forgotten to reload half my apps and such. After about 30 minutes My phone was back to normal.

DeleteThere is a thin line between disclosure and privacy. however when we talk about cloud computing its is very helpful as mentioned in the above comment. it is helpful to save our information so when we need to access it is always available from anywhere.
ReplyDeleteCloud computing is certainly a hot topic. Not only does almost every company try to use this technology, but it is just as useful as they all make it sound. As with Caris I also had to reset my phone once. I can even download music from my account no matter where I am. Flash drives, which were essential when I was going to high school, are slowly becoming a thing of the past I believe.

DeleteThe cloud technology is a new technology that if we learn how to use it safely is going to be a great tool for the new generation. I compare this technology with fire, at the beginning we did not how to use it safely and now you even care it in your pocket so you can use it at any time. I believe that we a little bit of more time we will learn how to use it safely as we learn how to use the fire.
ReplyDeleteiCloud makes things easier. I recently upgraded my iPhone and got the new one. However, it didn't take me time to transfer all music, pictures, contacts and apps. iCloud save time and effort. It is the storage for the information the we use everyday.
ReplyDeleteCloud computing is a great technology that benefits any user that uses the internet. The ability to store information over the cloud and gain access to it on any computer is a huge advantage for any user. As many people have said with iCloud and the iPhone it's an amazing feature and is so convient to easily get all your information back. If for any reason your iPhone breaks or your computer breaks you can still easily get your information right back when you get a new computer or iPhone. It makes disaster recovery not such a stressful time with knowing all your information is still there.

I know there are people out there who think that cloud computing techonology is an invasion of privacy but if a disaster was to occur and we broke our phones how would we ever gain access to information like documents and pictures ever again if it wasnt for cloud technology?
